Reliable CO2 incubator for cell culture. UV decontamination.
Application Area: Cell culture
"Reliable CO2 incubator for cell culture. Easy to use - easily programmable temperature, CO2 level etc. Has a UV lamp inbuilt for sterilization. The inner chamber has 4 stainless steel shelves with ample space. The inner glass door allows viewing samples after opening the outer door. We have two of these stacked one on top of the other with factor-supplied stacking clamps. Saves space. Moderate CO2 consumption. Reliable temperature and CO2 control. We have been using this incubator for more than 6 years without any major issues. Solid build quality"

"I joined the lab after one of these had already been purchased (model MCO-18AIC(UV)). When another, older incubator in the lab died its final death, I had to choose what to replace it with. Years of positive experiences dealing with our Sanyo InCu-Safe incubator led to me purchasing another one of it, but a later model (MCO-19AIC). I am glad every day that I made that decision. The display is easy to understand and interact with. The air jacket keeps the internal temperature quite constant, and it uses very little CO2: the pair of them are jointly connected to a single CO2 tank, which only has to be replaced once or twice a year). There is an audible alarm that alerts you to problems, and it requires infrequent but easy maintenance (bi-weekly top off of the humidifying pan, occasional surface wipe down, semi-annual serious scrub-down). Sanyo was purchased by Panasonic, who now handles their customer support, and Panasonic were very helpful to me over the phone for issues related to error codes, suggested maintenance plans, and getting PDF copies of the manual to me. I'll definitely keep this product in mind if I have to purchase another incubator in the future. "

"Our Sanyo Co2 incubator was always a reliable piece of kit for many years and much cheaper than most competitors. We have it with the copper lining alloy. I never had a contamination and it survived many moves. Highly recommended."
