Derivatization amino acid in food samples
The safe lock worked very well, even at high temperatures, 60-70C for 30 minutes, 1h, or 2h. No sign of leaking or evaporation of the reaction solution or color absorption from the solution on the tube wall when storing the solution under the atmosphere at room temperature. The tube is compatible with building in-house in-tip micro SPE pipette tip holders. It comes in different colors to protect the compound from direct light. It helps to reduce solvent usage when working derivatization for quantification.

This application note investigates the performance of Eppendorf Conical Tubes 15 mL and 50 mL under critical conditions and compare them to other common brands used in laboratory. Conical tubes with screw cap belong to most commonly used laboratory vessel formats and are universally used in a variety of laboratory procedures. Typical applications include handling and transport of various samples and reagents, centrifugation and mixing, and many others.
