The instrument is an advanced version of the evaporation technique and runs very smoothly, hassle-free. At one click you can start the evaporation process and you can reach the pressure up to 5mbar, which is really fantastic. As a everyday user I must say this should be in every organic lab.

Evaporation of solvent from crude extract

Gin: traditional production versus modern techniques
In this application note, BUCHI uses a classical Soxhlet extraction method to extract oil from chia seeds and then encapsulates these to be protected from oxidation. Oil was recovered by evaporating the solvent on a Multivapor™ P-6, a dry powder was produced using the Mini Spray Dryer B-290, and wet particles were produced by coextrusion technology using an Encapsulator B-395 Pro.
