New Rainin LR low retention tips prevent samples from interacting with the surface of the polypropylene tip. A special manufacturing process enables Rainin to produce tips with a uniform field of large, highly-repellent atoms that form an impenetrable “superhydrophobic” electron field.
Rainin LR low retention tips eliminate the pipetting irregularities associated with samples of diverse compositions and challenging physical characteristics, which often impede complete aspiration and dispensing. The result is greater pipetting accuracy across a broad range of sample types. Relax…there is now one less thing you have to worry about.

Selecting the right pipette: Optimizing your workflow
Selecting the right pipette for laboratory tasks is critical, highlighting the significance of pipetting accuracy and efficiency throughout scientific and medical research.
In this white paper, Rainin provides an overview of the two major categories of pipettes – air displacement and positive displacement – and offers tips for optimal pipette use based on specific workflow requirements.
Selecting the right pipette
Pipetting accuracy and efficiency are paramount in any laboratory setting. The ability to handle and transfer small volumes of liquid using a pipette is fundamental to numerous scientific and medical procedures. Therefore, selecting the correct pipette and using the proper technique is paramount. Choosing a suitable pipette for a specific application can significantly impact throughput and workflow, ultimately leading to improved results and increased productivity. METTLER TOLEDO provides an overview of the common types of pipettes and gives valuable tips on how to get the best out of your pipette depending on your workflow.
Optimizing Pipetting Workflows in Regulated Laboratories
