"The software OMNIS replaces our old touch-control, mainly because of the missing audit trail. It is not the easiest software to use, especially when creating new methods. We had quite some difficulties getting everything working, but the support was good. Titrations work reasonably well. The audit trail still misses some aspects we would have needed, but it is good enough to work with. It would probably be better with brand new equipment instead of our old 906 Titrando."

"We use the OMNIS titrator and accompanying software flat-out, on a daily basis and our throughput has increased significantly to the point where we have been able to accommodate extra samples as a result. It was purchased to upgrade an old, but still functioning, Titrino and Tiamo combination. The new software has a great user interface and overall experience – being able to load sequences and search through data easily is extremely useful especially around audit time. Metrohm came in and assessed our current uses and requirements and identified a number of areas where we could speed things up without sacrificing accuracy. "We use the Omnis software as new titration software and have replaced the TouchControl. The software is quite complicated and not intuitive. It, therefore, takes a long time to get used to it properly and to be able to create complex methods yourself. Unfortunately, some useful functions are missing in the Omnis, such as an adjustable report, as was still possible on the TouchControl. In summary, you can titrate well with Omnis, but from time to time special solutions are required and some things cannot be implemented at all as desired.
