Optimizing specificity and yield in PCR reactions
Using Mastercycler X50, we can set up a vertical or horizontal temperature gradient. The gradient temperature can be set to between 30 C and 99 C. It's a user friendly instrument, it has a touch screen to control the functions we want.

PCR and incubation of samples
Very user friendly, with touchscreen interface. Used to exponentially amplify a specific target DNA and RNA. Has 2D-gradient function that means we can simultaneously optimize both the denaturation temperature and the annealing temperature. Ramp rate is high.
