Description

Two models are available: PLATEMASTER P20 for pipetting volumes from 0.5−20 µL and PLATEMASTER P220 for pipetting volumes from 2−220 µL.

Increase the Productivity of Your Workflows

The PLATEMASTER’s 96-channel design greatly reduces the number of pipetting steps necessary to fill a microplate when compared to using regular manual multichannel pipettes. Typically, filling 96-well plates takes less than 10 seconds, and 384-wells can be filled in less than a minute using only four pipetting steps.

Increased Accuracy, Precision, and Reproducibility

Using PLATEMASTER for higher throughput applications reduces the risk of human error. In a single motion, accuracy and precision levels can equal that of an 8- or 12-channel pipettes, while avoiding the risk of skipping or repeating wells. Also all enzymatic reactions and cell-based applications across all wells can be started and stopped at the same time. From 0.5 µL to 220 µL pipetting volumes, expect improved well-to-well and plate-to-plate reproducibility.

Versatile and Easy to Use

PLATEMASTER is as intuitive as a PIPETMAN® and does not require programming, long training, or power for use. Through a variety of accessories, such as adapters for loading 384-well microplates, reagent reservoirs, or sample heater blocks, PLATEMASTER can be fully adapted to a variety of application needs. Its compact and portable design easily integrates into the lab, allowing it to fit on most benchtops, under hoods, or in cold rooms.

Streamline PCR and qPCR workflows with automated liquid handling

[@portabletext/react] Unknown block type "image", specify a component for it in the `components.types` prop

qPCR is a very versatile technique with many applications, however, it is also very sensitive and therefore requires accuracy and precision in liquid handling in order to reduce technical errors, cross-contamination, and yield reliable data.

In this free eBook, we present a number of high-throughput sample preparation methods for synthetic and molecular biology applications, and explore how automation in liquid handling can transform the throughput, accuracy, and reliability of qPCR and nucleic acid normalization in different laboratory workflows.

Download your free copy of the eBook to discover solutions for:

  • Ensuring sample integrity in qPCR
  • Optimizing qPCR master mix dispensing
  • RNA normalization for qPCR
  • DNA normalization for qPCR
  • Streamlining plant RNA extraction for RT-qPCR
  • Standardizing RT-qPCR workflows for SARS-CoV-2

Affordable digital dispensing for dose-response studies

Gilson and Funai are excited to announce the launch of the Gilson Digital Dispenser this year. This innovative new offering is a non-contact dispenser capable of dispensing DMSO and aqueous solutions from pL to uL. The large dynamic range makes it ideal for dose-response studies, serial dilutions, and assay miniaturization.

In this SelectScience webinar, our attending experts will demonstrate the functionality of the new Gilson Digital Dispenser with a cell-based assay example. During which, HEK 293 cells were dosed with doxorubicin from 0.00032 to 10 µM concentrations, and viability at 48 hours was quantified using Promega CellTiter-Glo® Luminescent Cell Viability Assay.

Key learning objectives:

  • Explore affordable digital dispensing solutions from Gilson and Funai
  • Discover how these dispensing solutions can be used within a cell-based assay

Who should attend:

Laboratory managers, laboratory technicians, scientists and students
