This is really GPS of biology.
Application Area: Spatial profiling
"NanoString’s GeoMx Digital Spatial Profiler (DSP) combines the best of spatial and molecular profiling technologies by generating a whole tissue image at single cell resolution and digital profiling data. Unique combination of high-plex and high-throughput spatial profiling enables researchers to rapidly and quantitatively assess the biological implications of the heterogeneity within tissue samples, Easy to use, great after sales care, and great value of money."

Great results allowing us to generate key data for publication.
Application Area:Oncology and any disease were tissue is available
"The technology is straightforward and their software and technical support made it very easy to use and generate novel data. The company currently has a large panel for both RNA and protein (antibody based). We used the antibody panel on three different FFPE tissue sections from tumors. We were able to identify novel immune profiles from our different samples and the data also provided us guidance for further investigating subpopulations of immune cells. The sales and technical representatives continue to support us with our questions. They had also been available for an onsite demo and meeting to discuss our data. One advantage of the antibody profile is that we were able to pinpoint a few key immune cells and only validate a handful, a tremendous cost saving."

Best spatial multi-omic instrument!
Application Area:Digital spatial profiling
"NanoString Technologies’ brand new DSP instrument is easy to use and fast. It can be used for both gene expression and protein expression at the same time. They are offering COVID-19 panel kits to investigate more of COVID-19. Moreover, its resolution is among the best. You can choose 12 regions of interest, with various sizes. Without using amplification methods, it gives us no amplification bias and no enzyme bias. And almost every step is automatic. You pick the sample, hybridize, choose ROI and just see. This instrument may open a new horizon for spatial multi-omics study."
GeoMx Digital Spatial Profiler is a novel platform developed by NanoString. Digital Spatial Profiling is based on nCounter® barcoding technology and enables spatially resolved, digital readout of up to 96 proteins or RNA targets in a multiplexed assay. The assay relies upon antibody or RNA probes coupled to photocleavable oligonucleotide tags. After hybridization of probes to slide-mounted formalin fixed paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tissue sections, the oligonucleotide tags are released from discrete regions of the tissue via UV exposure. Released tags are quantitated in a standard nCounter assay, and counts are mapped back to tissue location, yielding a spatially-resolved digital profile of analyte abundance.
NanoString’s GeoMx® Digital Spatial Profiler (DSP) combines the best of spatial and molecular profiling technologies by generating a whole tissue image at single cell resolution and digital profiling data for 10’s-1,000’s of RNA or Protein analytes for up to 12 tissue slides per day. This unique combination of high-plex, high-throughput spatial profiling enables researchers to rapidly and quantitatively assess the biological implications of the heterogeneity within tissue samples.
Highly multiplexed protein or RNA detection: up to 96 proteins and over 1000 RNA targets
Minimum sample: protein or RNA analysis from a single FFPE section
Morphological context: whole slide 4 color imaging to guide profiling
Maintains sample integrity: samples can be reused
Digital quantitation: up to 6 logs (base 10) dynamic range
Tunable resolution: select from 600 micron regions of interest down to single-cell
High throughput: up to 20 sections per day
