The new module of the epBlue software system allows simple and safe data exchange with your laboratory information management system by using all common barcodes. Barcoded samples, plates and reagents will be scanned manually and their origin identified and the process documented. epBlue ID will create a result file after the automated process and present it to a laboratory database for safe documentation.
Validation of the Eppendorf epMotion® 5075 TMX System for use with an Automated Forensic DNA Extraction Kit.
This application note describes an automated method for obtaining genomic DNA from biological samples suitable for real-time qPCR and STR profiling. The Eppendorf epMotion® 5075 TMX, automated extraction method compared with manual techniques was found to minimise hands on time with a run of a maximum of 96 samples taking approximately 2.5 hours. This liquid handling system interfaces with the computer epBlue software.

Learn about Eppendorf’s epMotion Liquid Handling Workstation and the epBlue IDTM system. The epMotion is designed for automating manual processes at a bench level, removing the time-consuming task of pipetting. The epBlue IDTM is a newly launched barcoding system for the integration of barcoded plates onto the epMotion workstation and the exchange of data onto a LIMS database.
