Important information was left out when we were buying the new instrument. Installation has been nothing but a hassle with not enough support with IT interfacing and connection to Beckman line/remisol. Application team was great but everything else for setup has been a nightmare.

Service is at times not the best.

It seems that the service on this instrument is not what we expected. There are problems with salt bridges forming on the electrodes. There is also not a very good response time for repairs. Our hospital lab only has one instrument and when it is down we lose money, Next day service is not always functional for us.

Suspect, diagnose, and confirm sepsis
In this brochure, Beckman Coulter describes the steps involved in diagnosing sepsis and the points where its technology can be utilized to assist in the process. Without timely treatment, sepsis can rapidly progress to tissue damage, organ failure, and death. Upon suspicion of sepsis, blood samples can be analyzed with the DxH 900 Analyzer and urine samples with the DxU Iris Analyzer. Further testing can then be performed with the DxC700 AU Analyzer and the Dxl 9000 Access Immunoassay Analyzer. Finally, for confirmation, the pathogen can be identified with the DxM MicroScan WalkAway ID/AST System.
