Bio-Rad D10 is a trustworthy analyzer. The user guide is very easy to navigate and troubleshoot when you do run into problems. Customer service is exceptional. Only dislike is that in a city with high occurrence of Hemoglobin F it does require us to send out any Hemoglobin variants.

This analyzer is truly worth it. The up time is incredible. The customer service hotline is always friendly and will talk you through each problem thoroughly. The field service engineers are impeccable. They are extremely knowledgeable about their field and helpful in troubleshooting any need.

We use our Bio-Rad D10 Hemoglobin A1C analyzer to prevent contamination on our chemistry platforms. We are beyond happy with our analyzer and it serves our needs well. Our downtime is very minimal and when we are down, Bill our field service engineer is exceptional and Bio-Rad customer service is as well. They will walk you through troubleshooting techniques and teach you about the biochemistry behind the platform to help you understand why certain things are malfunctioning to help you troubleshoot on your own next time. Bio-Rad is very responsive when we have issues and the field service technician is very knowledgeable and skillful in repairing any problems that we have. Ordering is pretty good and usually takes about 3 days to get supplies.

This instrument is very reliable. It is easy to run - no predilutions, just load whole blood samples and let it run. Loading a new kit is a little time consuming, but the kit is good for 400 injections. I thought the chromatograph would be hard to read and interpret, but turns out it is easy to read when you have worked with it a little while - you can basically look at it in a glance and determine its criteria for acceptance.

I think Bio-Rad D-10 is one of the best machine for HbA1C quantification. Highly accurate and gives a result in a short time.
