Benchtop sorter
It is very easy use and is an intelligent benchtop sorter ,which can bring about more convinence and effectiveness for a cell sorting scientist.
Review Date: 17 Mar 2022 | Beckman Coulter Life Sciences
The best sorter ever
Flow Cytometry
This sorter meets everything I need for a sorter. It's so easy to use that even a new student, who has never touched a Flow analyzer before, can use this sorter only after a half day training. It can sort with high sensitivity, high viability, which helps me a lot for my FC sorting experiments.

Fantastic sorter! Easy to go!
Cell function
Very easy to use, and keep cells high activity, intact cells function.
Review Date: 17 Mar 2022 | Beckman Coulter Life Sciences
Flow sorting has never been easier
Immunology
Small size, quiet sorting environment. The sorting can be completed without any special settings, and the most important thing is that the sorted cells have good viability. In the single-clone sorting experiment, there is also the electrostatic effect of the instrument avoided by the vertical sorting function, which is not only accurate but also can improve the success rate of clone screening.

Measuring genome size and ploidy in plant species using CytoFLEX S Flow Cytometer
Flow cytometry is a powerful technique that enables the identification of multiple properties of individual particles, such as cells and nuclei, within heterogeneous mixtures. When applied to free nuclei, it is routinely used to measure genome size and ploidy levels in plants. This data is essential for identifying taxonomic units like subspecies, characterizing natural populations, and distinguishing between different modes of reproduction, whether sexual or apomictic.
Nina Chumak, Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Zurich, will discuss the benefits of using the CytoFLEX S flow cytometer for plant nuclei flow cytometry. She will also cover key practices for sample preparation and the selection of internal controls.
Key learning objectives
- Understand the advantages of flow cytometry for determining the genome size of plant species
- Explore the benefits of using the CytoFLEX S flow cytometer in plant applications
- Learn best practices for sample preparation and the criteria for selecting internal standards in flow cytometry applications for plants

Zooming in on B cells and viruses: The power of flow virometry and cell sorting
Virus-like particles (VLPs) are nanostructures that possess diverse applications in therapeutics, immunization, and diagnostics. These particles consist of one or more different molecules, have the ability to self-assemble, and are virus particle mimics in that they share the same form and size. However, they lack the proper genetic material to be infectious. Recently, VLPs have garnered increased attention in relation to SARS-CoV-2 vaccination. Due to their ability to elicit an immune response, VLPs have become an attractive alternative to conventional vaccination methods, for which contaminants from host cell production are a major issue. In this webinar, join our expert speakers as they discuss how flow virometry isolates and characterizes VLPs more efficiently by selectively capturing VLPs of interest. In addition, they will explore how cell sorting techniques have been used to deepen understanding of how humoral immunity is developed to viral antigens, describing how both follicular helper T cells and follicular regulatory T cells have an effect on germinal center reactions.
Key learning objectives
- Understand what VLPS are and how are they beneficial to research
- Learn more about the immunologic response to SARS-CoV-2 and associated pathways
- Explore sorting as a research tool for vaccine research
Who should attend?
