A valuable instrument in the microbiology laboratory, this saves lab workers hours of time plating out clinical samples (swabs) to allow them to focus on high priority samples such as tissue samples from theatre and blood cultures. Simple software which can be used after a small amount of in-house training. Consumables hideously expensive but of supreme quality. Easy to exchange when dealing with maintenance tasks. After care excellent, engineers are always happy to help and if they come across a (rare) problem they cannot fix, they help Copan Italia remotely access the instrument for diagnostics and repair.
