I have been using this reagent for more than ten years. This product is superior to other cell storage reagents. The viability is much higher than classic FBS/DMSO and other cell storage reagents. The cells can be stored at -80°C without reducing their viability for more than one year (and more). You don't need to wait long to get healthy cells from your frozen stock.

A little spending but superior product for cryopreservation of cell lines

Although the product is more expensive that traditional 90% FCS/10% DMSO, the post thaw viability is superior and the product is easy to use no additional components need to be added.
