3 years ago we replaced our old ultra pure purification system with this new Astacus system. Since this time we did not have any problems or issues with our new system. For our research and production of antibodies, nanobodies, and proteins we need at least 4l of ultrapure endotoxin-free water daily. This system is perfect for our lab. We only need a once per year maintenance service.

Ultrapure water
We ordered the ultrapure water system Astacus² Reagent with μS-Control on August 12, 2019. The water system was ready for collection on 9.9.2019. The set up was made at our own company was problem-free. The initial humming of the system was quickly eliminated by fixing the vibrating part of the outer shell. Since then, the system has been in service without any problems. We use the water for sample preparation, special stains and mass spectrometry. The water blank values show no interfering impurities in the mass spectrometry. With a consumption of 10-20l / week the consumption of the cartridges is over 9 months.
