Another highlight is the technical support offered by the manufacturers and distributors, which is fast and efficient, from installation to preventive and corrective maintenance. I had the opportunity to use this equipment during my PhD at the Biogeochemistry Laboratory at UFF, where it played a crucial role in complex and highly sensitive analyses. Currently, as a lecturer at the Federal University of Southern Bahia (UFSB), I envision the acquisition of this equipment to advance fluvial biogeochemistry studies in the extreme southern region of Bahia. The inclusion of an ion chromatography system in the local research infrastructure will allow us to deepen our understanding of biogeochemical processes in aquatic ecosystems and make a significant contribution to the sustainable management of the region's water resources.

Very easy to use. Program (MagICnet) is very intuitive. Maintenance is easy to perform, including some that we do regularly have done by Metrohm (such as changing pump heads. I've had to do that, and it was easy). Anytime I have had to a problem it's been pretty easy to isolate where my problem was, and then if I could do the fix myself, it was usually an easy fix or replacement. The instruction booklet is well written. It also includes problem-solving. It has techniques for problem solving, such as isolation, and most likely issues (for instance, the common causes of high pressure).

My name is Vo Kim Uyen, working at the Quality Center for Agro-Forestry-Fisheries Region 2, in Da Nang City, Vietnam, my center was established in 1998. By the end of 2012 we have invested in a complete ion chromatography system, probes, pump system, channels, autosampler and associated accessories in a large package. The Metrohm instrument is known to be the leader in the analysis of anions and cations in water; polyphosphates; organic acids. Under the guidance of engineers of Metrohm Vietnam (Hoa Y), we have gradually mastered the equipment and implemented methods to analyze water and food samples, so far we have mastered the process. device. With the investment in equipment and the guidance of Metrohm engineers, the ion chromatograph 858 combined with the 850 Autosampler, the inductor worked well, we deployed it to analyze the sample, this gives a significant portion of the revenue for our side. For me the ion chromatograph 858 works reliably, has high accuracy, repeatability, sensitivity that meets water and food standards. Along with the 858 Metrohm device, we have participated in domestic and foreign skill assessment programs such as Fapas, AOV, LGC... and everything is quite good, when the results have z-core allowable, this is also partly proves the accuracy of a modern device. With reminders for replacement of consumables as well as replacement of components such as peristaltic pumps, filters make it easy for us to control hazards that affect analysis results. Although the cost of the materials is quite expensive, it is understandable that this is an ion chromatograph and from a reputable company, the device has high accuracy; The trade-off for that is a stable and accurate result.
