Great result. Only observe chemical level for titration and pure brine flow continity

Average Rating 5.0

Application Area:

ca mg analysis at ION exchange column outlet

very effective to know the dynamic value of hardness by ca mg analyzer at outlet of ION exchange column, means measurement of hardness in pure brine. And it is the critical parameters for zero gap elements in electrolysis process, where hardness is required less than 20 ppb. Easy to operate. We can get the value at DCS.

Great results

Average Rating 5.0

Application Area:

Analyse the hardness in brine solution

This analyser is measuring hardness value online. It is very useful to maintain the our product brine. It is working smoothly and its software is also very user friendly. No special training required to operate the analyser. Initially we bought one after satisfaction of its results we procured one more.

Fast and accurate results.

Average Rating 4.0

Application Area:

Analyze the equilibrium carbonate concentration in reaction of Li2CO3

The equipment analyzed and calculated the carbonate concentration in a precise and reproducible way. It allowed us to measure in a constant and automatic way the concentration in the reactors and to visualize the value from SCADA. It allowed us to implement automatic control loops.

All in all a great device!

Average Rating 3.7

Application Area:

Surfactant determination

A good device for automatic surfactant determination. Only an optimization in the cooperation between TIAMO and the process software would be desirable (keyword: user access control / user-friendliness / software stability)

Metrohm Process Analytics presents the 2035 Process Analyzer, an integrated solution for 24/7 online-monitoring of critical chemical parameters in industrial processes and wastewater streams. The new system is entirely modular by design enabling custom configurations for monitoring single or multiple process streams.

Three basic configurations for titrimetric, photometric, and thermometric measurements

The 2035 Process Analyzer comes in three basic configurations for potentiometric, photometric, and thermometric measurements. Any of these can be combined with additional measuring techniques such as pH and/or conductivity measurement.

Custom configurations possible

Due to modular architecture of the wet part, there is an analyzer configuration for each specific application challenge. A large array of functional modules such as burettes, pumps, vessels, valves, and more is available.

Robust design (IP66)

Strict separation of wet part and electronics ensures safe operation in harsh environments. The electronics part is housed within non-corrosive epoxy-coated stainless steel.

Virtually unlimited sample conditioning options

Metrohm Process Analytics provides virtually any sample pre-conditioning system, such as cooling or heating, pressure reduction, degassing, filtration, and more.

Sophisticated data communication

Ethernet TCP/IP Network communication and remote operation, web services, MODBUS, analog outputs, digital outputs to transmit results, and alarm status signals. Result export to USB.

Features:

  • Modular wet part means greater flexibility for applications
  • Additional measuring techniques can be integrated (pH, conductivity)
  • IP66/NEMA 4-rated: protection in harsh environments
  • Customizable, user-friendly interface with several security levels
  • Remote control capability makes evaluating results and inspecting diagnostics easier

Inhibiting Polymerization: Monitoring the Concentration of TBC in Styrene According to ASTM D4590

More than 27 million tons of styrene monomer (C6H5CH=CH2) are produced worldwide each year. The stabilizer 4-tert butylcatechol (TBC) plays a crucial role in preventing premature polymerization during storage and transport of styrene, butadiene, vinyl acetate, and other reactive monomers. In this application note, a Process Analyzer from Metrohm Applikon is used for photometric analyses of TBC in styrene.

Effectively Monitoring Hydrogen Peroxide as a Delousing Agent in Salmon Farms

The process of growing salmon on an industrial scale is contained either in a net or pond, and is controlled from egg to market. An unfortunate side effect of holding such a large volume of fish it the proliferation of salmon lice which must be killed off for a healthy population of fish to survive. This application note discusses the use of hydrogen peroxide as a delousing treatment in salmon farms to combat the spread of these parasites.

Monitoring Tetramethylammonium Hydroxide (TMAH) in Developer

For the production of semiconductors it is of the utmost importance to use chemicals with an extremely high purity. The presence of impurities (even in very small proportions) can have large effects on the electrical properties of the material. The same counts for the concentrations of the chemicals used during the production process. Tetramethylammonium hydroxide (TMAH, N(CH3)4OH) is an alkaline ingredient in photoresist developer, kept at a concentration between 2.38–2.62% in many applications and is highly effective in stripping off the acidic photoresist as it becomes soluble in the developer. This application note demonstrates how a process analyzer configured for titration performs the accurate analysis of tetramethylammonium hydroxide (TMAH) using a combined pH electrode
