Vero Precision AFM
Vero AFMs use interferometric QPDI detection to measure true tip displacement, improving accuracy, precision and repeatability in AFM measurements.
Vero is Oxford Instruments Asylum Research’s next-generation AFM family, built on Cypher performance and enhanced with Quadrature Phase Differential Interferometry. Unlike conventional AFMs that infer tip motion from cantilever bending, Vero measures actual tip position, supporting more precise, repeatable nanoscale measurements.
Key features / benefits:
• QPDI interferometric detection measures true tip displacement
• Designed for higher accuracy, precision and repeatability
• Model options for ambient, environmental and video-rate workflows
• Built on the stability and performance of the Cypher AFM family
Relevant applications:
• High-resolution AFM surface characterisation
• Nanomechanical and functional property mapping
• Materials science, bioscience and nanotechnology research
• Research requiring repeatable, quantitative nanoscale measurements
