Unity is Oxford Instruments’ BEX detector for scanning electron microscopy, designed to accelerate elemental analysis by capturing backscattered electron and X-ray information simultaneously. Positioned beneath the pole piece, it helps maximise signal collection, reduce shadowing effects and enable users to navigate samples with immediate visual and compositional insight.
