We purchased a couple of these after seeing them at a convention, and they are amazing! We do a lot of liquid dispensing, into numerous samples for different extractions, and this has saved us a lot of time and effort with that. We had previously used a rechargeable dispenser that uses glass 10 mL pipets, and we had to dispense the amount manually. This pipet will detect the size of pipet you have inserted and you can set the amount you want it to dispense. After drawing up the liquid, you just push one button to dispense the requested amount, then again into the next sample and so forth. It is much easier and more accurate than having to slowly dispense while looking at the graduations on the pipet. The company makes plastic individually wrapped pipets that it works with, which you must use to automatically dispense the exact amount. You can use other pipets or glass ones but you must use the manual dispensing button. (We use this for certain chemicals that we are dispensing that are not going to be compatible with the plastic.) All in all, this little gadget has saved us a lot of time and effort. It is very easy to work, you really don't even need to read the instructions. We all love it!
