Degelijke software / Solid software
Voor 2 KF-coulometer ovens / For 2 KF coulometer ovens
It took some getting used to the Omnis software at first, since we were used to Tiamo. But once we got used to it, it's easier than Tiamo. The software is also updated regularly during maintenance, so you're always working with the latest version. The service technician also checks this regularly.

OMNIS can be fully automated with the OMNIS Sample Robot. The capacity of this modular x-y-z platform can be expanded from size S to M to L and can be used to accommodate and determine a maximum of 500 liquid samples completely unattended.
OMNIS puts the focus on the sample. This means that results produced by different technologies on the platform (e.g., Karl Fischer titration and near-infrared spectroscopy) do not have to be aggregated manually but are shown for each sample at a single glance.
OMNIS is available for stand-alone as well as client/server installations and connects up to 500 clients in a network. It complies with highest data and cyber security standards and meets the requirements for software in the regulated environment (FDA 21 CFR Part 11, EudraLex Volume 2, Annex 11).

Analysis of water samples and water constituents with Metrohm instruments
We all need pure, healthy, and clean water. Keeping it clean is not only the task of nature and environmental protection organizations or of the water authorities – each and every individual is concerned. The most diverse regulations and guidelines have been developed worldwide and given rise to an independent branch of analytical science. The aim of this application note is to show you which parameters and water constituents can be analyzed with Metrohm instruments.
Kjeldahl determination of nitrogen in waste water
In this Application Note, a method to determine the nitrogen content in water by Kjeldahl digestion and distillation followed by a photometric or potentiometric titration according to ASTM D3590 is presented. Nitrogen determination by Kjeldahl digestion and distillation has been performed since 1883. The universality, precision, and reproducibility of the Kjeldahl method have made it the internationally recognized method for e.g. estimating the protein content in many matrices and it is the standard method to which all other methods are judged against.
USP Monograph Modernization Initiative: Chemical Medicines Assay by Potentiometric Titration
Many of the chemical medicine assay procedures are done by manual titration as per USP monographs. The manual titration procedure lacks data integrity and adds another layer of complexity. Pharmaceutical QA/QC needs an analytical technique with data integrity for FDA audits and reliable product release. As science advances, the USP reviews monographs to assess if they should be changed to reflect recent innovations and technology updates making laboratory analysis more efficient, cost-effective, and safe. Autotitration combined with suitable equivalence point detection not only improves specificity, but fulfills data integrity. As part of USP monograph modernization, a new assay method for potassium bicarbonate and potassium carbonate is developed and validated using autotitration.
Enabling the Analysis of Several Chemical Parameters on a Single Platform
This application note shows how the new, modular Omnis platform from Metrohm integrates comprehensive wet chemical analysis focusing on titration methods. No matter which parameters need to be determined and by which methods, the new, powerful Omnis software collects the results for each sample and shows them in a single report.
