This is really GPS of biology.
Spatial profiling
NanoString’s GeoMx Digital Spatial Profiler (DSP) combines the best of spatial and molecular profiling technologies by generating a whole tissue image at single cell resolution and digital profiling data. Unique combination of high-plex and high-throughput spatial profiling enables researchers to rapidly and quantitatively assess the biological implications of the heterogeneity within tissue samples, Easy to use, great after sales care, and great value of money.

Great results allowing us to generate key data for publication.
Oncology and any disease were tissue is available
The technology is straightforward and their software and technical support made it very easy to use and generate novel data. The company currently has a large panel for both RNA and protein (antibody based). We used the antibody panel on three different FFPE tissue sections from tumors. We were able to identify novel immune profiles from our different samples and the data also provided us guidance for further investigating subpopulations of immune cells. The sales and technical representatives continue to support us with our questions. They had also been available for an onsite demo and meeting to discuss our data. One advantage of the antibody profile is that we were able to pinpoint a few key immune cells and only validate a handful, a tremendous cost saving.

Best spatial multi-omic instrument!
Digital spatial profiling
NanoString Technologies’ brand new DSP instrument is easy to use and fast. It can be used for both gene expression and protein expression at the same time. They are offering COVID-19 panel kits to investigate more of COVID-19. Moreover, its resolution is among the best. You can choose 12 regions of interest, with various sizes. Without using amplification methods, it gives us no amplification bias and no enzyme bias. And almost every step is automatic. You pick the sample, hybridize, choose ROI and just see. This instrument may open a new horizon for spatial multi-omics study.

Experience discovery-scale spatial multiomics with the GeoMx Digital Spatial Profiler (DSP). GeoMx DSP enables high-plex spatial profiling of whole-transcriptome RNA and protein from intact tissue sections, preserving spatial context across biologically defined regions of interest.
Designed for discovery-scale tissue research, GeoMx DSP supports mapping of tissue architecture, molecular programs, and spatially resolved biomarkers across diverse sample types. Biology-driven region selection and digital quantification deliver reproducible, high-quality spatial data for exploratory and translational research.
GeoMx DSP supports whole-transcriptome RNA profiling using the Whole Transcriptome Atlas (WTA) and unmatched spatial proteomic plex using the Discovery Proteome Atlas (DPA), with readout via the nCounter® Analysis System or Illumina sequencing. Integrated RNA and protein analysis provides deeper biological insight by linking transcriptional regulation with protein expression within intact tissue microenvironments.
Key Benefits:
