CIL offers a number of labeled simple carbohydrates (e.g., lactose, glucose, galactose, maltose, sucrose) and sugar alcohols (e.g., arabinitol, galactitol, mannitol, ribitol, xylitol). These are available in their research grade and/or microbiological/pyrogen tested (MPT) form. The enrichment and labeling pattern for each compound is as specified in the product descriptions. These can be used in a variety of applications (e.g., stable-isotope tracing to assess fat metabolism or disease pathways and protein expression for NMR).
