Quickly and thoroughly remove liquids from culture vessels, tubes or wells during routine laboratory workflows like media changes, washing or waste disposal. Designed for the safe and efficient aspiration of fluids, the vacuum level and suction power on Starlab’s Aspirator is adjustable in eight steps (150 to 850 mbar) for safe and reproducible working.
The chemically-resistant pump automatically switches on/off to reduce noise level in the workplace. The ergonomically-designed hand controller with flow through suction tube for quick yet safe action is fully autoclavable. Collection containers are available in two options; 4 L polypropylene and 2 L glass bottles. You can also use the Aspirator as a mobile vacuum source for sterile filtration and solid phase extraction.
Auto ON-OFF pump switch with low noise emission for a quieter working environment. Hydrophobic filter prevents contamination of environment and provides overfill protection. Special inlet pipe reduces build-up of foam and aerosols in the collection bottle. Collection bottles made from polypropylene or coated glass can be autoclaved with filters attached for safe handling. Optional self-sealing quick couplings facilitate safe and fast exchange of collection bottles containing biological risk material.
