BTX has introduced a New MicroPoration Technology for Transfection of 10µl to 100µl Sample Volumes.

Microporation is a novel electroporation technology which enables the transfection of small sample volumes. Transfection takes place in the actual pipette tip. This non viral method is also ideal for transfecting a wide range of hard-to-transfect cells (including primary cells, human stem cells and neurons).

The BTX system consists of a high performance pulse generator, safety chamber and MicroPorator pipette. Pre-sterilized MicroPoration disposable tips are manufactured using state of the art micromachining technology.

The High Performance Pulse Generator has a graphical user interface for easy setting and operation. All electrical parameters are controlled by the user including voltage, number of pulses and pulse duration.

Pre-optimized electrical parameters are provided and updated through the technical support group.
