The BIOSTAT® B fermenter | bioreactor has been specially designed to cover the wide variety of requirements in biotechnological and biopharmaceutical research and development. BIOSTAT® CultiBag RM single use bioreactor

BIOSTAT® CultiBag RM single-use bioreactor for the cultivation of all cell types, including mammalian cells, plant cells, insect cells, stem cells and microbial cells. Application-driven packages are available for culturing from 100 ml to 300 l. BIOSTAT® CultiBag RM is a single-use bioreactor utilising rocking motion agitation with low shear. Incubation shaker CERTOMAT® BS-1 is suited for the growth of bacteria, yeast, insect and plant cells in a temperature-controlled environment from 8° C above ambient temperature up to 70° C. With an optional integrated cooling unit, the temperature range can be extended to 10° C below ambient temperature. Also available is an optional illumination unit for growth of photosynthetic organisms. CERTOMAT® BS-1 can be programmed to operate for specified periods at defined ranges of speed and temperature plus illumination. Five programs, each consisting of four steps and one pre-step, can be defined and stored. The menu language can be selected by the user. CERTOMAT® BS-1 units can be stacked three units high in order to save valuable lab space. Due to the patented adjustable mass compensation system, all three stacked units can be run at maximum speed even when fully loaded. The CERTOMAT CTplus is the first CO2 incubation shaker specifically designed for cultivation of mammalian cells. It fulfils all requirements for the cultivation of mammalian cells. CO2 concentration, temperature and humidity are kept constant due to advanced insulation and sealing. The isolation of the incubation chamber from the mechanical drive and control units prevents corrosion otherwise caused by the formation of carbonic acid.
