Product news

Harvard Apparatus Syringe Pumps offer the smooth flow, accuracy, precision and reliability required for Microliter and Nanoliter Post Column Reaction additions.

The Pico Plus Pump has two syringes with flow rates from 1.3 picoliters/min to 1.0 milliliters/min. This syringe pump features an RS 232 port for computer control and a foot pedal to start or stop the pump.

The Harvard Apparatus family of infusion pumps can provide the smooth and accurate flow needed for post-column derivatizations. These pumps can provide up to 8,000 psi of pressure with flow rates from 1.3 picoliters/min to greater than 200 milliliters/min.

UHPLC and HPLCHigh performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) and ultra high performance liquid chromatography (UHPLC), also known as UPLC, are analytical techniques used to separate, identify and quantitate components of complex mixtures including biological samples such as proteins and lipids as well as chemical mixtures of pesticides, drugs and oils. Both techniques are liquid chromatographic methods but differ by operating pressures (HPLC < 6000 psi < UHPLC ). Components of HPLC and UHPLC systems include columns, detectors, pumps, autosamplers and column heaters. Explore a range of UHPLC and HPLC columns for your specific sample needs including reverse phase, normal phase, ion exchange, HILIC, ion exclusion and size exclusion columns. For more specialized HPLC, explore FPLC, countercurrent LC and simulated moving bed systems. Explore a range of manual and electronic pipettes, including single and multichannel, serological and volumetric pipettes, as well as a range of pipette tips. Bottle-top dispensers are also available for simple and fast solvent dispensing. Find the best pipettes & dispensers in our peer-reviewed product directory: compare products, check customer reviews and receive pricing direct from manufacturers.PumpsLaboratory pumps are devices used to move liquids and gases by vacuum or positive displacement. The pressures/vacuums generated are determined by the type of pump used. High vacuum pumps include diffusion, ion, roots and turbopumps; for primary/medium vacuum applications see rotary vane pumps, scroll & diaphragm pumps. For the positive displacement of liquids explore a range of syringe and peristaltic pumps, as well as fluid aspirators.
