IDBS, a software informatics solution provider for biotech and pharma, have announced a new series of out-of-the-box digital workflows that will support organizations who are developing therapies and vaccines for COVID-19 and other diseases. These configurable turnkey workflows eliminate time consuming and error prone manual steps and provide a highly contextualized source of process and quality data.

While biopharma companies recognize the need for efficiency, quality and data integrity, most have yet to take advantage of digital solutions designed specifically to streamline process execution, integrate equipment, process and quality data and support streamlined reporting and analytics. MIT Sloan Management and Deloitte’s fourth annual study of digital business found that biopharma companies resist digital transformation and that only 20 percent of biopharma companies are digitally maturing.

“Many of our customers are at the cutting edge of developing new vaccines and therapies for COVID-19 and other diseases. We are in the midst of a global race to bring an end to this pandemic by accelerating the development of these new vaccines and therapies. Our new out-of-the box workflows for process development and the assessment of developability can be deployed rapidly, removing bottlenecks and ensuring quality is not compromised for the sake of speed” said Christian Marcazzo, Vice President and General Manager. “We are honored to be able to support our customers in this globally important race and we are fully focused on providing solutions that will continue to accelerate biopharmaceutical development.”

To support the development efforts of its customers, IDBS is offering free use of the new software for 90 days.
