Product news

The Model RC-200 Solvent Recycler from Phenomenex offers advanced features for automation and GLP/GMP. This model works automatically and reliably with any isocratic system to recover and recycle up to 95% of the mobile phase typically shunted to waste.

Solvent purchase and disposal costs are significantly reduced along with environmental pollution. Some of the advanced features of the RC-200 Recycler include automatic storage and recall of up to 10 methods, a universal power supply, and compatibility with almost any detector. Detection of both positive and negative peaks is possible, with a selectable recycler signal display that can be matched to that of the detector. For operation under GLP/GMP, ISO 9000 and other quality systems, the recycler is capable of validated output to document valve operation. In addition, the self-cleaning feature enables the unit to automatically wash/rinse the HPLC column and lines before shutting itself down, saving the chromatographer unnecessary cost and instrument downtime. The compact Recycler fits on top of any detector and can be used with any isocratic system from microbore to prep. With exceptional utility in labs where continuous and unattended operation are required, the unit is easy to use and extremely reliable. Under ordinary use the Recycler should pay for itself in less than 3 months.

UHPLC and HPLCHigh performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) and ultra high performance liquid chromatography (UHPLC), also known as UPLC, are analytical techniques used to separate, identify and quantitate components of complex mixtures including biological samples such as proteins and lipids as well as chemical mixtures of pesticides, drugs and oils. Both techniques are liquid chromatographic methods but differ by operating pressures (HPLC < 6000 psi < UHPLC ). Components of HPLC and UHPLC systems include columns, detectors, pumps, autosamplers and column heaters. Explore a range of UHPLC and HPLC columns for your specific sample needs including reverse phase, normal phase, ion exchange, HILIC, ion exclusion and size exclusion columns.
