Hoefer unveils stylish new line of power supplies

5 Feb 2007

April sees the release of the first two models in Hoefer’s innovative new line of power supplies, featuring an Italian influence in their design.

The general-purpose 330V 400mA unit is the right choice for running electrophoresis units, while a 220V 2A model is aimed at blotting applications. State-of-the-art industrial design has led to a vertical format for the power supplies, saving valuable bench space in the lab. Each unit is programmable and features four sets of outlets.

Ramana Tadepalli, Director of Sales and Marketing, Hoefer, Inc., said, ‘These novel products are competitively priced and we expect them to have a significant impact in the market. The new range will be extended in the autumn with the launch of a number of high voltage units.’

For over 35 years Hoefer, Inc., the premier supplier of gel electrophoresis equipment and related products, has been recognised as an innovator.
