Gene Transduction was accomplished eight to ten days post-differentiation of 3T3-L1 adipocytes. Transient transfections were performed by electroporation with the BTX OneDrop MicroPorator.

The OneDrop MicroPoration System is fast, 3 second analysis time. It uses very small sample sizes from 10µl to 100µl and results in high yields of transfected cell.

The One Drop MicroPorator MP-100 is a hand-held pipette-type device which utilizes the powerful MicroPoration technology. It consists of a high performance pulse generator, safety chamber and MicroPorator pipette.

Pre-sterilized microporation tips manufactured by state-of-the-art micromachining factories are supplied as disposables. The High Performance pulse generator has a graphical user interface for easy setting and operation. Setting of electrical parameters, number of pulses and pulse duration are graphically visualized with a large LCD display. Pre-optimized electric parameters are provided and updated through the technical support group.
