Cronus^® 13mm Syringe Filters

SMI-Labhut have introduced a range of 13mm syringe filters to offer users an economical alternative to the standard 25mm filter. Cronus^® 13mm syringe filters are colour-coded to provide quick and easy identification of membrane and porosity.

They are available in five different membranes including nylon, cellulose acetate, PTFE, PVDF and regenerated cellulose and in porosities of 0.20µm and 0.45µm. Their enhanced luer lock inlet provides a secure connection and eliminates filter ‘blow-off’.

13mm filters can often be used in place of larger filters and are ideal for use with sample volumes of less than 10ml. They are suitable for most HPLC applications and can be very economical when compared with ‘traditional’ larger filters.

Cronus^® 13mm filters are also available as a fully certified product with each batch of filters tested by an independent laboratory. Every pack of Cronus® Certified syringe filters is supplied with a certificate of compliance and is shrink-wrapped in a robust re-useable plastic box.

Cronus^® syringe filters are also available in a 4mm size for samples of less than 1ml and a 25mm size for samples of up to 100ml.
