Beckman Coulter Hosts Flow Cytometry Educational Programme for Diagnostics and Research Applications in the Clinical Setting

Beckman Coulter to present at the European Society for Clinical Cell analysis (ESCCA) 2017

21 Sept 2017
Matthew Mcardle

Beckman Coulter will give a keynote industry presentation on the diagnosis of haematolymphoid malignancies at this year’s European Society for Clinical Cell analysis (ESCCA), which takes place in the Porto Palace Conference Centre & Hotel, Thessaloniki, Greece from September 24- 27, 2017.

The role of flow cytometry in 24/7 immune monitoring of trauma patients, analysis of rare abnormal leukocytes and assessment of immune deficiencies will be demonstrated and discussed in a range of educational programs organized by the company.

Beckman Coulter is one of the premier sponsors of the 2017 congress and will be exhibiting at ESCCA on booth #PR1. ESCCA was founded to carry forward the work of the European Working Group on Clinical Cell Analysis (EWGCCA). This was a joint initiative by 16 European centres to foster and develop flow cytometric applications for clinical purposes.

ESCCA Scientific Industrial Partner Presentation

Michael Kapinsky, one of Beckman Coulter’s clinical flow cytometry experts, and Katherina Psarra from the Immunology Dept. at Evangelismos Hospital, Athens, will present: ‘ClearLLab LS: A new CE-IVD orientation tube to guide you through the diagnosis of hematolymphoid malignancies’ in the conference center’s Chrystal Hall, 12.30 am – 13.15 pm on Monday September 25, 2017.
