Product news

Alpha Innotech Corp., a leading provider of bioanalytical systems for drug discovery and life science research, announces its latest imaging system for laboratory research, the AlphaDigiDoc® Pro. The AlphaDigiDoc Pro is an easy-to-use documentation system that captures sharp, high resolution black and white or color images.

Designed for labs with limited budgets, users select only those light sources and filters they require for their applications. Applications of the AlphaDigiDoc® Pro include fluorescent dyes, such as Ethidium Bromide, SYBR® Green, SYBR® Safe and Hoechst Blue, as well as white light applications, such as coomassie stained protein gels and silver staining.

With the launch of the AlphaDigiDoc Pro, Alpha Innotech also releases AlphaProView™ image capture software, a streamlined software interface that easily navigates users through the process of acquiring an image. AlphaProView software enables scientists to customize exposure times for their images, easily zoom in and out on their samples, and view their images in color or black and white.

The AlphaDigiDoc Pro can also be used as a stand-alone system. Scientist can save their images to the camera’s memory card, and print directly to a USB printer.

“With industry leading specifications and ease of use, AlphaDigiDoc Pro provides scientists an economical platform for digital imaging,” commented Lisa Valdin, Marketing Manager of Alpha Innotech.
