Urine Analysis of Buprenorphine / Norbuprenorphine / Naloxone in Drugs and Driving Cases

In this poster, drugs and driving cases positive for buprenorphine were further tested for both the metabolite/naloxone and the results presented. This study demonstrates the efficiency of LC-MS/MS analysis of buprenorphine, its metabolite (norbuprenorphine) and naloxone when urine samples are subjected to enzymatic hydrolysis and solid phase extraction. The data will help forensic analysts working in the area of drugs and driving cases to differentiate between buprenorphine and buprenorphine/naloxolone ones.
