Detection and Measurement of Chemical Warfare Agents

The methods used for detection of chemical warfare agents (CWA) are dependent upon the specific circumstances in which they are encountered. If the situation is one where the identity of the agents involved is unknown, then the method must first be capable of providing unequivocal identification of the agent(s) present. This technical note gives an overview of various methods available for the detection and measurement of CWAs.
