During formulation development of therapeutic proteins, numerous screening and stability studies are used to identify suitable formulations. The number of formulations screened is limited by time and resources. Automation of formulation screening and stability studies can significantly increase productivity and improve throughput without additional resources. This application note shows how the Big Kahuna system, configured for biologics formulation, automates the entire formulation development process.
