Application Note: Tuning the Elastic Moduli of Corning Matrigel and Collagen I 3D Matrices by Varying the Protein Concentration
9 May 2018
The stiffness of extracellular matrices has been shown to govern cell behaviour in a number of ways, including differentiation and migration. This comprehensive application note investigates the impact of altering matrix protein concentration on the elastic modulus, using a rotational rheometer. This technique can be applied to a wide variety of cell studies to appreciate cell-to-matrix cross talk.
