Fusion Gene Detection and Gene Expression Analysis of Circulating RNA in Plasma Research Samples

5 Sept 2016

The presence of circulating (cell-free) nucleic acids in the bloodstream offers a potential non-invasive approach to monitor disease status and guide treatment options. Recently, increasing interest has been shown for circulating RNA; especially for their potential application as biomarkers that may lead towards more effective diagnosis in the future. This scientific poster presents a complete workflow for circulating RNA analysis including blood collection, plasma preparation, circulating RNA extraction, expression analysis and gene fusion detection.
