Carcinoembryonic antigen-related cell adhesion molecule 8 (CEACAM8 or CD66b/CD67) is a highly glycosylated protein expressed only in neutrophils and eosinophils in humans. CEACAM8 plays a role in the interaction between granulocytes and epithelial cells. CEACAM8 is expressed in leukocytes of chronic myeloid leukemia patients and bone marrow.
