Description
Tumor necrosis factor receptor superfamily, member 19, also known as TNFRSF19 and TROY is a novel murine tumor necrosis factor receptor.1 It can be detected in most murine tissues examined, particularly in brain, reproductive organs, and late developmental stages of murine embryo, but not in tissues of the immune system.1 TNFRSF19 is a member of the TNF-receptor superfamily and is capable of inducing apoptosis by a caspase-independent mechanism, and it is thought to play an essential role in embryonic development.
