New 2D Chromatography Techniques in the Pharmaceutical Industry

12 June 2014

2D chromatography is a research tool that comprises of two columns coupled together in a continuous flow. New instrumentation enables scientists in many industries, particularly the pharmaceutical industry, to detect more components in complex mixtures. Recent developments include using separation techniques that are orthogonal to each other, e.g. size exclusion chromatography (SEC) for peptides.
