Proteinase K (Pro K) is a stable, broad-spectrum serine protease that degrades a variety of proteins under a wide range of pH, temperature, detergent and denaturing agent conditions. As a result, it is effective for sample preparation in a variety of research, pharma, and diagnostic applications including assays and kits.
