"Easy to use, basically turn it on, adjust your speed settings and let it do its magic. I use the IKA magnetic stirrer myPlate. It is under 6 months old. I have used heating hot plates in the past which are good for their purpose, but currently not needing heat to stir my testing solution. Great little device and is very mobile, if in the field. It runs as low as 100W so it is great for solar invertor set up in the field."

Very happy with the large ceramic heating top on the HS 10: its high heating rate allows me to pasteurise around 10 litres of ice cream mix. Very accurate temperature readings and well built. I'll shortly be ordering a second HS 10 hot plate."
