"GatorBio has manufactured a wonderful instrument in measuring (both kinetics and quantitatively) bimolecular binding events, more so than conventional SPR or FCS. Further, the inventor of GatorPrime derived the ease of use from ForteBio while significantly increasing the throughput and turnover of analysis time. I think the greatest feature is the built-in software package to understand sensorgrams. Even if GraphPad, prism, python, etc can also analyze sensorgrams, they certainly require a higher depth of implementation and subsequent understanding to properly concluded the resulting data."

This fluidics-free instrument can accommodate standard 96-well or 384-well microplates. With a walk-away time of >6 hours, rich datasets can be obtained with little hands-on time. GatorPlus is optimized for the characterization of a wide range of biomolecules including small molecules, antibodies, and other proteins. GatorPlus enables enhanced baseline stability to provide high-quality data for the accurate analysis of the most complicated pairs. With greater signal-to-noise, GatorPlus enables measurement of pM affinity pairs with ease.
