Quality equipment from an excellent team of professionals.
Drying substrates post HAST testing
This oven is easy to program and completely reliable. It maintains the set temperature and one feature that I really like is that it is quiet, much more so than other ovens I have been looking at. I also want to say that Binder is a great company when it comes to taking care of their customers. Specifically, I have worked with both Rose P. and Lisa A. and have found them to be great people to work with. They are knowledgeable and display a high level of professionalism. The oven that I chose fulfills my needs. It is also easy to operate and was a very good investment. My level of satisfaction is such that I went back to Binder and purchased three more ovens. I have spent over 25 years working in a variety of different types of labs around the U.S. I am the lead tech in a group of 6 working for a multi-billion-dollar company. When I’m not operating equipment or running a test, I am responsible for purchasing for our lab. If you need equipment for your lab, I recommend Binder.

Coatings and adhesives
We use Binder ovens every day in our R&D lab. They always read and maintain accurate temperatures, which means we can spend less time calibrating/verifying performance and more time working on key project development research.

Repeatable and stable
Roasting cocoa beans
Binder ovens (FD series Avantgard) represent a "gold standard" in repeatability and stability. That is why they have become a defacto international standard for laboratory evaluation of cocoa beans. There is also an option on the FD56 oven to have a "temperature boost"--an extra heating coil which dramatically shortens oven recovery times following door opening and roasting tray insertion.
