Manufacturer's Response

Dear Phan Duy Khiem, thank you for your review, we are happy to hear about your positive experience with LeDoser.

Claisse LeDoser instrument has 3 different weighing modes:

  • Flux to sample ratio
  • Catch weight
  • Absolute weight

The fact that you can select the most appropriate mode ensures a seamless integration in laboratory standard operation procedure. Moreover, the tank stirrer option makes sure that LeDoser performance is constant for high and low throughput. It is also LIMS ready and the data transfer is simple and straightforward.

By letting this automated instrument work for you, you can get peace of mind and concentrate on more valuable tasks. The automated and constant weighing also eliminates calculation errors and fatigue for an increased accuracy and reproducibility. This instrument minimizes repetitive strain injuries (RSI) arising from weighing related tasks, hence improving the operators' safety.

Claisse LeDoser is equipped with industrial grade balance made from cutting-edge weighing system technology for unrivalled robustness.

Other Benefits of using LeDoser instrument:

  • Quick ROI
  • Low cost of ownership
  • Easy to use

A comparison of weighing methods prior to fusion

Major investments are often made in state-of-the-art XRF equipment without knowing that the whole analytical chain, including the weighing step in sample preparation prior to fusion, is of crucial importance to get precise and accurate analytical results and consequently obtain estimated financial pay-offs. The weighing step in sample preparation by fusion for XRF analysis is all about knowing the exact weights of the sample and the flux (sample-to-flux ratio). Consequently, the weighing method, the tolerance accepted as well as the analytical method to obtain this ratio will affect the quality of analytical results given by the spectrometer.
