There are now five levels of Seal of Quality — Diamond, Platinum, Gold, Silver, and Bronze

Seals of Quality recognize the top 0.1% of products that consistently receive the highest customer review ratings on SelectScience® and are designed to help scientists and healthcare professionals worldwide immediately recognize the instruments and services their peers rate the highest.

Previously, there have been just four Seals of Quality awards available: Platinum, Gold, Silver, and Bronze. Today, we’re launching a brand-new exclusive Seal of Quality, the Diamond award.

First diamond winner - congratulations!

Logos Biosystems are the first to hold this exclusive Seal of Quality. The company has earned this new award for the LUNA™ Family of Automated Cell Counters, having received over 500 reviews with a very respectable average star rating of 4.8 out of 5.

Commenting on the LUNA-FL™ Dual Fluorescence Cell Counter, Valentin Vecera from Charité Berlin, said: "Excellent device, produces reliable cell counts and saves you a lot of time with a good workflow."

Logos Biosystems has seen plenty of success within the Seals of Quality program and the Scientists’ Choice Awards®. It previously received the Platinum Seal of Quality back in 2020, and the LUNA-FX7™ Automated Cell Counter won Best New Life Sciences Product of 2021.

Diamond award criteria

For a product to achieve this new Seal of Quality, the following criteria must be met:

  • Product or family of products must have 500 or more product reviews
  • Product or family of products must have an average rating of at least 4.5 out of 5 stars

Your reviews make a difference

The Seals of Quality program started in 2017, with the goal to assist scientists in making important purchasing decisions by recognizing the products that have consistently received the highest review ratings. There are 75 lab products currently permitted to display a SelectScience Seal of Quality.

New Seals of Quality are announced quarterly alongside the Scientists’ Choice Awards.
