Application Note: Nanotrap Virus Particles capture and concentrate coronavirus OC43 for improved RT-PCR detection

In this application note, Ceres Nanoscience explains how they used Nanotrap Magnetic Virus Particles to capture and concentrate CoV-OC43 virus from spiked viral transport media prior to RNA extraction. This application note highlights how Nanotrap particle processing also enables detection of CoV-OC43 in samples with concentrations at or below the limit of detection.
