Imaging of Agarose Gels with the Odyssey Fc Imager
12 Sept 2011Applications of the Odyssey Fc Imager, are highlighted in this technical note. With 600 channel capabilities, the instrument can image agarose gels stained with popular DNA stains, such as ethidium bromide and SYBR Safe DNA stain, with sub-nanogram sensitivity. A variety of commercial DNA stains may also be appropriate for fluorescent imaging with the instrument in addition to other nucleic acid binding stains which may also be compatible with the Odyssey Fc Imager.
